Talent Match is a great opportunity to get involved at ASU and Barrett, get to know other students, and be able to make a difference in a child’s life. The program pairs honors college volunteers with fourth and fifth grade students from the St. Agnes Elementary School in downtown Phoenix. For an hour and a half a week the volunteers share a special skill or talent with a child. Past activities have included musical or sports lessons, theater, cooking, photography, singing, acting, and crafts. The children are bused to ASU so that they may have exposure to a college campus and see firsthand all of the amazing things ASU has to offer. Often these youth do not have the opportunity to participate in organized activities of this nature.
