Barrett Summer Programs
The Barrett Honors College highly encourages its students to enhance their educational experience by studying abroad. Studying outside the United States expands students’ global perspective and adds knowledge and awareness they cannot receive with just a basic university education. Students who have studied abroad report that it is their most important and meaningful educational experience, one they will remember for the rest of their lives.
The Barrett Honors College offers several summer study abroad programs that allow honors students to travel and study together and with BHC faculty members:
China (Director: Dr. David Pickus) Russia (Director: Dr. Laura Popova)
Andes and Amazon Field School (Directors: Dr. Ted Humphrey, Dr. Janet Burke)
Athens, Crete & Rome (Director: Dr. Diane Facinelli)
Paris, Normandy and the Loire Valley (Directors: Dr. Kevin Dalton, Dr. Eric Susser)
Specific information on each of these trips is available in the menu at the top of the page!
