The admissions process for Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University is very selective. With every incoming freshmen class the college strives to create a dynamic and well-rounded group of scholars who will contribute to every aspect of the honors college community. Admitted students have strong grade point averages along with impressive standardized test scores. Consideration is also given to exhibited leadership qualities, special talents (musical, athletic, scientific, among others), interesting hobbies and avocations, community involvement and other facets of personal achievement and experiences. The submission of letters of recommendation is *highly encouraged*.

Prospective students may apply to Barrett once they have submitted an application to Arizona State University. Transfer applicants and current ASU students need to have a minimum of two years remaining in their program of study at the university to be considered for admission. Transcripts and standardized test scores should not be submitted to Barrett, The Honors College unless specifically requested.
